Mike Piff is an American Artist & Music Producer from New Haven, CT.

Live from the heart of The 203, Mike brings you a balance of New and Classic sounds.

His delivery may vary; from laid-back spitting on a break infused with jazz samples, to the likes of an Autotune Banger he leaves no emotion untapped. Sometimes eras unite creating an experimental Hip-Pop Fusion; pristine melody, bars and a little magic, all reinforced by an undeniable Hip-Hop backbone.

Identifying as a true Bass Head, Mike strives to break your windshield with 808s hitting below 26Hz.

Elements of his influences are cleverly placed throughout his productions; traces of 70’s Funk & Disco, early 80’s computer drumming and electronic music technology, late 80’s underground NYC Dance, Golden Era Hip Hop, The Mixtape Era, all the way up to hints from today’s Great’s can be found within the measures. A seasoned fan of music can appreciate not only the diversity but also an air of respect for those who came before him.

Mike is attempting to recreate his life experience via the audio medium. Empaths beware!

“It’s like you smell the za smoke, you grind your teeth and feel his PTSD”- Craig (Raleigh, N. Carolina)

From humble beginnings in the basement of an old factory in the city’s Fair Haven Section, Mike Piff has tirelessly aimed for Audio Mastery. Mike, a self taught Mixing & Mastering Engineer has been playing with wires since before he could walk, all of this eventually manifesting as a highly influential East Coast Recording Studio; Soundloft, located in Branford, CT. To-date Soundloft has delivered Audio & Video services to some of today’s hottest Artist including French Montana & Lil Baby. Soundloft & Mike Piff are currently 5x Platinum with respect to providing these services.

More than 40,000 songs have been cut directly by Mike Piff or under his supervision. That’s’ 92,000 minutes of audio; that’s 1,533 hours, that’s 63 days, 9 full weeks of continuous audio if played back to back.

Although this is a large contribution to the Artist Community in New England and the Tri-State area, Mike Piff plans to scale his efforts by putting his stamp on not only American Music but also the world stage.

These “hours in the gym” are the driving force behind the magical experience it is when he blesses us with a production donning his name as an Artist.

There is one last objective; to hang a Platinum Plaque for his own record on the wall in his home. This is no easy feat. So we implore you, the listener, to share the word about an artist who is truly independent, who hasn’t sold out, and strives to deliver the rawest tunes possible to a listener with a taste for non-conformity and authenticity.

“The real ain’t back, we never left.”- Mike Piff
